ME

This is my story of dedication (for getting into my dream school), belief (in God), courage (to regain the confidence I have lost), and hope (in eventually, finding my Romeo). Let's see how it all works out.

Chalk

if life were like chalk
it would be
succinct
no need for explanations
no need for excessive drama

if life were like chalk
smears, smudges, and mess ups would be alright
because there would always be something - whether an eraser, a cloth, or water to take it all off

if life were like chalk
blue trees and green skies would reign
eccentricities and oddities preferred

if life were like chalk
nothing would be permanent
with just a swift hand motion, the words, the feelings, the emotions, would be wiped away
turned into dust
forever gone

if life were like chalk
it would just be white lettered
i love you's
or
i'm sorry's
that would make all the difference

if life were like chalk
no one would grow up
there would be vibrant colors, large swirls, and incessant doodles
nothing would matter
everyone would play

if life were like chalk
there could only be happiness
there could only be laughter
because, honestly, no one can get hurt
when the only things you had were a meager piece of chalk to write with
and a big heart to listen to
