Recommendation

I've gone on some people's blogs and have personally asked for this recommendation, but now I'm just leaving it out to everyone. I'm in need of great assistance.

So, for my birthday (less than two weeks!), I'm wanting to get a winter coat. I was thinking of getting a Northface at first - but I'm getting sick of brand names. Instead, I'm in search of a cute, every day wear (I'll be wearing it to school), warm (because of the cold, snowy days, here in Virginia), trendy, and affordable (less than $100, please).
Anyone have ideas?

    Sadly, I don't really have any advice about this. My birthday is in less than two weeks, too, though!!! The 17th,,, whens yours? :]

    I'm a big fan of wool pea coats, but I'll be honest, they're nowhere as warm as a Northface. But I'm willing to sacrifice a little warmth for fashion haha
