This is my story of dedication (for getting into my dream school), belief (in God), courage (to regain the confidence I have lost), and hope (in eventually, finding my Romeo). Let's see how it all works out.

I'm A Little Bit Excited

I painted my nails purple, silver, and sparkly. I put on my now favorite, gray coat. I've organized my cute, silver clutch with a couple of bucks and my student ID.
Through my windows, I can feel the wind growling. And out of the corner of my eye, I can see my phone flashing a green dot, signaling "new text".
It's been a while since I've actually done something Friday night. Tonight, I'll be with my girlies (I cannot believe I just wrote that word), watching my high school play of my favorite book in the world, Lord of the Flies.
I'm so ecstatic, and hopefully when I come back home, I'll be able to describe this impeccable week.
Oh gosh, am I excited and happy today.

[>>Oh, I loved the advice my history teacher gave us today. We all tend to count the minutes till Friday, or Winter break, or Summer, or graduation, or...etc. But, as he said, "don't count your days down". And that really got to me.]
